Biden Wants to Increase Your Taxes
I paid my taxes early this year. Even though I made about the same as last year, Joe Biden and Gavin Newsom grabbed more than ever. They needed the extra money for more wars and abortions.
I had to pay a lot extra to the IRS and California’s Franchise Tax Board. What meager savings I attained in 2023 went Poof! I’m trying to figure what to cut out. Maybe the liberal publications I subscribe to as enemy research. It would be cheaper just to read free online “The Communist Manifesto.”
Unlike the federal government, $35 trillion in debt, and the California government, $73 billion deficit, I don’t want to go into debt.
Biden has been campaigning on raising taxes on “rich” people. He went to his Scranton home town to advertise his Working Class Joe persona and attack Trump for being a billionaire. Even though Biden grew up wealthy and never has held a real job in his life. He went straight from law school into politics and stayed here. Now he’s a multimillionaire. Maybe Hunter was great at making investments.
The Wall Street Journal headlined, “As Trump Stands Trial, Biden Sees Campaign Opening: President has made small gains in polls and is set to receive endorsement from members of Kennedy family.”
The Kennedys don’t like how one of their own, Bobby Kennedy Jr., is running and would siphon most votes from Biden. It’s also convenient how Trump’s legal troubles, which I mentioned earlier are being stage-managed by the Biden-Garland “Justice” Department, are keeping him off the campaign trail. What an attack on Our Democracy. If this were a small, defenseless country, America would invade it to restore democracy.
According to the White House transcript of the speech, Biden promised:
Under my plan, nobody earning less than $400,000 will pay an additional penny. I hope you’re all able to make $400,000. (Laughter.) I never did. But they’re not going to pay an extra penny in federal taxes. That’s a promise. Nobody. Not one penny.
You can take that Biden promise to the bank. You know, the bank that used to hold your money before the IRS pilfered it on April 15.
Here’s something I wrote in a recent article in the Epoch Times:
Except—this will seem unbelievable to those in other states—$400,000 is middle class in California. In February the California Association of Realtors calculated, “Fifteen percent of California households could afford to purchase the $833,170 median-priced home in the fourth quarter of 2023. A minimum annual income of $222,800 was needed to make monthly payments of $5,570, including principal, interest and taxes on a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage at a 7.39 percent interest rate.”
That $883,170 price is for the whole state, including cheaper rural areas. Zillow pegged the average home value in Los Angeles this week at $974,105.
What if you have kids you want to put in private schools because the Los Angeles Unified School District scores so abysmally on test scores? Then it’s a minimum of $16,780 per kid, reported Private School Review. For two kids, that’s another $33,560—after taxes.
If you have a long commute to and from work, the cost of gasoline, now soaring above $5 a gallon again, adds thousands a year.
Throw in the inflation we have suffered in under Mr. Biden, and soon even a $400,000 income is eroding fast.
Biden can’t remember anything. But those of us who suffered through the 1970s remember how quickly inflation dissolved incomes. It was the era of Jimmy Carter’s “malaise” and “stagflation” – stagnation plus inflation. All to the soundtrack of a hideous disco beat.
Reagan came along, wrung inflation out of the economy, cut taxes and produced a boom.
Trump’s tax cuts did the same, booming the economy. And what little prosperity remains is because Biden hasn’t yet canceled those tax cuts.. I’m middle-class. In my native Michigan my income definitely would be a good amount to live on. But in Taxifornia, everything is so expensive I’m actually lower middle-class.
Under Trump’s 2017 tax cuts, I have paid $1,000 less every year. That now comes to $8,000. Biden wants to grab it and more.
How about if taxes are increased only on Biden voters? If that’s what they want, let’s give it to them.
