Want to make Joe Biden laugh in church? Tell him a joke on Thursday.
Alexander Solzhenitsyn, a patriotic artillerist in the Red Army driving back the Nazi hordes, in 1945 wrote a friend about “the mustachioed one,” dictator Joseph Stalin. He was arrested and sentenced to eight years in the gulag slave-labor camps.
In 2016, Douglass Mackey was telling jokes under the nom de Twitter “Rocky Vaughn,” after the character played by Charlie Sheen in the 1989 movie “Major League.” He joked people could vote for Hillary Clinton for president by texting a specific number. Biden-Garland arrested him and he’s facing a potential 10 years in prison. Pedro Gonzalez provides a good summary here.
This is why I have compared AG Merrick Garland to Andrei Vyshinsky, Stalin’s AG during the show trials in the late 1930s. Vyshinsky came up with the perfect Stalinist phrase: “Show me the man, I’ll show you the crime.” Like Biden and Garland, Vyshinsky had no sense of humor. (However, Stalin did have a sense of humor – a really, really psychotic one, as revealed in the recent biographies.)
What's the difference between a vacuum cleaner and an attorney general on a motorcycle? The vacuum cleaner has the dirt bag on the inside.
The Mackey case is nothing but full-scale censorship and repression to avenge the defeat of Hillary. It’s a complete assault on our First Amendment right to freedom of speech. The alleged violation is Mackey was rigging the election in favor of Trump, who won. Allegedly thousands of voters actually were dumb enough to text their “votes” for her. If that’s the case, they were too stupid to vote anyway, so no loss. But I don’t believe it. This is just tyranny.
And two more things show it’s tyranny. The Washington Examiner reported:
Mackey's trial was meant to commence on March 16 but was delayed at his counsel's request due to a planned Southern Poverty Law Center article on the defense's would-be expert witness, George Hawley, an associate professor of political science from the University of Alabama.
Which led to Hawley withdrawing from the case. That’s witness intimidation that, back when we had a functioning justice system in this country, would have brought swift punishment by the judge and condemnation even by the mainstream media, followed by dismissing the entire case. Not now.
The SPLC is utterly discredited – although relied on by the “Justice” Department and others. A month ago 20 state attorneys general signed a letter to Garland-Vyshinsky and FBI Director Wray contemning the FBI’s intimidation of Catholics, based on SPLC lies. Yes, Biden-Garland-Vyshinsky-Wray are violating the First Amendment in another way, in this case the freedom of religion.
An attorney general woke up in the hospital after surgery and asked, “Why are all the blinds drawn in here?” The nurse answered, “There’s a fire across the street and we didn’t want you to think the operation had been a failure.”
The second tyrannical action is Garland-Vyshinsky has a “cooperating witness,” a fact it only recently was forced to reveal. The name still is not known – and may never be known. Yet as Garland-Vyshinsky obviously knows, as he was a law prof at Harvard Law, the Confrontation Clause of the Sixth Amendment mandates the accused has the right “to be confronted with the witnesses against him.”
American liberties, and therefore the essence of America itself, may not survive Biden-Garland-Vyshinsky’s reign of terror against our ancient rights.
