Nov. 8: The election, still not over in some places. Biden loses the House, but keeps the Senate.
Nov. 15: Trump announces he’s running again for president. If he wins the GOP nomination, he again could go up against Biden, who has said he’ll be running gain.
Nov. 18: Biden’s henchman, Merrick “Vyshinsky” Garland, announces a Special Persecutor will go after Trump on trumped-up accusations surrounding the Jan. 6 free-speech protest and documents Trump classified, then took to his home.
It’s all so blatantly political, and corrupt. If anyone should be investigated by the “Justice” Department, it’s Biden for his kickbacks from Ukraine; beginning with whatever is on Hunter’s laptop.
If Biden-Vyshinsky want to “get” Trump, they will be able to. Henry Silverglate described how in his 2011 book titled, “Three Felonies a Day: How the Feds Target the Innocent.” A book review described it, “Mr. Silverglate describes several cases in which prosecutors didn't understand or didn't want to understand technology. This problem is compounded by a trend that has accelerated since the 1980s for prosecutors to abandon the principle that there can't be a crime without criminal intent.”
Andrei Vyshinsky was Stalin’s top prosecutor at the Moscow Show Trials and gave us this summary of his methods, “Show me the man, I’ll show you the crime.”
In America, each of us commits, unwittingly, three felonies a day – a thousand a year. The checks we used to have on this, especially a free press, no longer exist. The New York Times isn’t objecting to Biden-Vyshinsky’s lynching of Trump. Regime propagandist Maureen Dowd exults, “Trump, Macho Macho Victim / His campaign is off to a special start (as in special counsel).” I couldn’t get behind the paywall, which is just as well. All Times stories now read like those in Pravda c. 1938.
Actually, they read like NY Times stories c. 1938. The paper still refuses to return the Pulitzer Prize given to Walter Duranty for his stories fawning on Stalin and covering up the Holodomor, the starvation to death of 7 million mostly Ukrainian farmers. Not surprisingly, the Times is a big booster of this horrible war that is killing many thousands more Ukrainians, as well as Russians, instead of pushing for peace, de-Nazification and neutrality for Ukraine.
A friend of mine mentioned Trump’s announcement of his candidacy was “subdued.” I replied, “He knows the immensity of the task ahead.”
In that it’s different from his June 2015 announcement when he came down the elevator at Tromp Tower. It seemed a lark. Only after he wiped out the other GOP candidates in debates that fall was it clear he was going to get the nomination. The next summer I predicted on several platforms he would win it all that November. I based my prediction on my friends and relatives back in Michigan – Reagan Democrats who went back to the Dem Party after George HW Bush broke his “Read my lips! No new taxes!” pledge – telling me they were backing Trump. That was an early sign of how working- and middle-class Americans were shifting Republican; while the Democrats were becoming the party of the privileged, pampered elites – the worst of the worst.
This time, the task is much greater for Trump. He could finish his campaign in a hellhole prison. There are increasing threats to his life from people who no longer have any scruples. He’s also going up against the Establishment swine in his own party, such as Mitch McConnell, who sabotaged his own party’s chances of winning back the Senate.
This time, if Trump wins, he’ll start off knowing to avoid appointing to office those who oppose his agenda: Pompeo, Barr, Mattis, Kelly, Bolton, et al. And the whole Russiagate Hoax is in the past, with proof beyond doubt it was cooked up by Hillary and the FBI.
Some are calling this Trump’s Revenge Tour. Better to think of it as the Unfulfilled Promises Parade. Here’s how it ends:
You nailed it. The Rep Party should have more appreciation for Trump who is willing to take all the arrows. If not Trump, the next one will have to take those same arrows. Why don’t they seem to realize that?
Nice John.
How can anyone not love a column that works Vyshinsky into the Biden witch hunters?
Keep it up.
