Biden’s Gift to Trump: Al Qaeda in Charge in Syria, Russia Enraged
42 Days Till Inauguration Day
Note: This is a revision. An alert friend noticed I wrote: “In 2019, President Trump recognized the Golan Heights as part of Syria.” Which has been corrected to: “In 2019, President Trump recognized the Golan Heights as part of Israel.”

Remember Al Qaeda? They hijacked four planes on 9/11/2001, then flew two into the Twin Towers, one into the Pentagon and the fourth into the ground. Joe Biden – or whoever’s running the demented old fool’s regime – just put them in charge in Damascus, Syria. The same group President GW Bush used to launch his Global War on Terror, especially on Saddam Hussein’s Iraq, which was against al Qaeda. The GWOT cost 500,000 lives in the Middle East, more than 4,000 American troops’ lives and $7 trillion to U.S. taxpayers.
On Judge Napolitano’s YouTube this morning, longtime British Middle East diplomat Alistair Crook explains how this really is al Qaeda, and they are supported by the United States – that is, you. The Biden regime is posing the new group as “moderates,” and the media call them “rebels.” You can believe that as much as Biden’s promise not to pardon Hunter.
Let’s look at the top “rebel,” the new emir: Ahmed Hussein al-Shar'a, who goes by the nom de guerre Abu Mohammad al-Julani. First: note the last name: Julani. It better would be Englished as Golani, as in Golan Heights. So call him Emir Golan Heights. You’ll recall in the Six-Day War of 1967 Israel occupied two-thirds of the Golan Heights. In 2019, President Trump recognized the Golan Heights as part of Israel. After that, one of the settlements the Israelis have built there was named Trump Heights.
Wikipedia has a good description of Emir Golan Heights:
The US State Department listed Al-Julani as a "Specially Designated Global Terrorist" in May 2013,[9] and four years later announced a $10 million reward for information leading to his capture.
The nisba "Al-Julani" in his nom de guerre is a reference to Syria's Golan Heights, mostly occupied by Israel during the Six-Day War in 1967.[13] Al-Julani released an audio statement on 28 September 2014, in which he stated he would fight the "United States and its allies" and urged his fighters not to accept help from the West in their battle against the Islamic State.[14] In recent years however, he has presented a more moderate view of himself, suggesting he has no urge to wage war against Western nations, and has vowed to protect minorities.[15][16]
Yeah, sure. And Osama bin Laden was another “moderate” Islamist.
Ahmed Hussein's family came from the Golan Heights in Syria, displaced in 1967 after the Israeli occupation during the Six-Day War. His father, Hussein al-Shar'a, was an Arab nationalist student activist for the Nasserists in Syria. He was imprisoned by Syrian neo-Ba'athists during the anti-Nasserist purges initiated after the 1961 and 1963 coups d'état, which broke up the United Arab Republic and propelled the Arab Socialist Ba'ath party to power.[18]
Hussein al-Shar'a later escaped prison to complete his higher studies in Iraq in 1971. During this period, he travelled to Jordan to co-operate with the Palestinian Fedayeen of the Palestine Liberation Organization.
As to Israel, Fox News headlined: “Netanyahu hails 'historic' fall of Bashar Assad in Syria, credits Israeli attacks on Hezbollah, Iran: Netanyahu cautions that Assad's fall is 'fraught with significant dangers.’” What dangers might those be, Bibi? How about al Qaeda, once it consolidates power in Syria, subjecting the other terrorist groups that joined in ousting Assad? Then how about a terror war by Emir Golan Heights to take back the Golan Heights, including Trump Heights?
Assad and his regime were brutal dictators. But what comes next?
Another hot картофель dropped in Trump’s lap is how this affects relations with Russia. As Crooke pointed out, Russia and Iran had a deal with Turkey not to restart the war in Syria. Turkish President Erdogan broke that deal. And Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov was angry at the Doha Forum with Turkey’s foreign minister.
Of course, Israel and the United States effectively are fighting Iran in a cold war that sometimes turns hot, with missiles flying between Iran and Israel. But Russia and Iran soon will be signing a defense compact because Biden pushed them together, as well as in an alliance with China and North Korea. The work of Nixon and Kissinger five decades ago to keep China and Russia apart was destroyed in four years by Biden – even as China has risen to become the world’s greatest economic power.
In addition to involving Biden regime maneuvering in the Middle East before Jan. 20, Turkey breaking its deal with Russia over Syria also shows the U.S./Turkey/NATO can’t be trusted. As if they needed another example, following President G.H.W. Bush’s early 1990s pledge to move NATO “not one inch” to the East; and breaking the 2015 Minsk II accords who keep the Ukraine regime – put in power by a 2014 U.S.-sparked coup against the elected government – from attacking Russian residents of Eastern Ukraine.
Notice how this boxes in Trump on Ukraine. Unless he can pull a кролик out of a hat, there’s no way he can come to a decent agreement with Putin. Russia has a huge army in Eastern Ukraine now rolling westward toward Poland’s border. It has the new hypersonic Oreshnik missile, which is non-nuclear but hits with the force of a nuclear warhead. Trump has no effective leverage for a deal. He’s not going to commit NATO or U.S. troops to defend Ukraine. Sanctions, as Lavrov said in his recent interview with Tucker Carlson, actually strengthened Russia’s economy by forcing it to develop native industries.
And the CIA’s World Factbook now ranks Russia’s economy the world’s fourth largest in 2023, and growing faster than our economy:
Note China’s economy now is 15% bigger than the U.S. economy. We’re No. 2!
That’s what happens when you blow $7 trillion on idiotic Middle East wars and generally mismanage everything the way this country has at least since GW Bush’s GWOT and his spiking domestic spending at record levels, running up a $36 trillion debt.
Finally, Crooke says the rise of Emir Golan Heights greatly increases world tensions and makes it even more likely it all will end in World War III.
The whole mess, with 42 days of mayhem remaining until Inauguration Day, is a giant raspberry to the president-elect.
Welcome back to Washington, President Trump!
Al Qaeda, or more accurately, Al CIAda, was a scarecrow to distract us from Cheney's conspiracy with the Mossad to justify wars to aid the Zionist enlargement of New Israel into the greater part of the middle east.
