Democrats Keep Attacking Trump and Musk for Cutting Waste

Democrats still don’t know what’s going on. They’re stuck in 2024 – or maybe 2020. Click on this short clip on X of Rep. Maxwell Frost of Florida. He’s ranting about Musk and his algorithm aces getting access to Treasury Department data. But how else are we supposed to cut all the waste, fraud and abuse Frost and other Democrats keep piling up?

Just to Frost’s right with a green tie is my congressman, Dave Min, nodding his head.

I admit I have a grudge against Min for beating state Sen. John Moorlach, whose press secretary I was, in the 2020 COVID election. Even as Moorlach in the Senate was trying to rein in the dictatorial powers seized by Gov. Gavin Newsom to extensively shut down schools, churches and restaurants, Min was spouting the official line about COVID and attacking Moorlach for “not following The Science.” At the time The Science was attacking the Lab Leak Theory, that it originated in Wuhan, China. The Science was censoring social media that brought up any questions.

Well, as AP reported two weeks ago, none other than a CIA report now concluded the Lab Leak Theory is the best explanation of what happened: “It was declassified and released Saturday on the orders of President Donald Trump’s pick to lead the agency, John Ratcliffe, who was sworn in Thursday as director.”

Min won in 2020 and in 2024 with small margins, largely because Irvine is a university town. So we have a lot of liberal kids and numerous ultra-leftist profs, including Min’s wife and former Rep. Katie Porter, who preceded Min. Porter left that job for a failed attempt to win a U.S. Senate seat ultimately won by the even worse Adam Schiff. All of those just mentioned are wealthy leftist lawyers utterly remote from the people they claim to represent.

The problem Min, Schiff and the other Democrats have is regular Americans are shocked at the massive waste Musk is uncovering and want all of it cut. Some Democrats even are insisting the $40 billion of the USAID budget is “less than 1% of the $7 trillion federal budget.” That shows how out of touch they are. Trillions, billions – whatever. Most people can’t make sense of the immense numbers. What does make sense is not being able to afford to live a decent life because taxes and prices have soared under Biden, Kamala, Min, et al., as hundreds of thousands of functionaries live lives of excess on our tax money.

Here’ a graph of the skyrocketing deficit. That obviously can’t last.

It’s just getting worse. For the first four months of fiscal year 2025, Oct. to Jan., the deficit soared $868 billion – a $2.6 trillion clip for the year. That’s $2,600,000,000,000.00 more you owe.

As I write, the National Debt Clock reads: $36,463,770,472,128.00 It will be much higher by the time you read this. That comes to $104,182.20 owed by every man, woman and child in this country. If you just had a little child born, or grandchild, that baby owes $104,182.20.

Now some examples of waste, fraud and abuse from the Democratic Party grifters. On Feb. 6, the House Committee on Oversight announced:

“WASHINGTON—The Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation held a hearing titled, “Transgender Lab Rats and Poisoned Puppies: Oversight of Taxpayer Funded Animal Cruelty.” Subcommittee members discussed how the federal government wastes millions of dollars on cruel and unnecessary animal research.”

A list of Democratic Party grifts the White House culled from other reports included in the links:

• $1.5 million to “advance diversity equity and inclusion in Serbia’s workplaces and business communities”

• $70,000 for production of a “DEI musical” in Ireland

• $2.5 million for electric vehicles for Vietnam

• $47,000 for a “transgender opera” in Colombia

• $32,000 for a “transgender comic book” in Peru

• $2 million for sex changes and “LGBT activism” in Guatemala

• $6 million to fund tourism in Egypt

• Hundreds of thousands of dollars for a non-profit linked to designated terrorist organizations — even AFTER an inspector general launched an investigation

• Millions to EcoHealth Alliance — which was involved in research at the Wuhan lab

• “Hundreds of thousands of meals that went to al Qaeda-affiliated fighters in Syria”

• Funding to print “personalized” contraceptives birth control devices in developing countries

• Hundreds of millions of dollars to fund “irrigation canals, farming equipment, and even fertilizer used to support the unprecedented poppy cultivation and heroin production in Afghanistan,” benefiting the Taliban

Min and other leftist Democrats in swing districts are going to have a problem in 2026: Their opposition to Musk cutting waste, fraud and abuse will be used against them in social-media posts by Republicans. Worse, as we saw with Trump, the Silicon Valley Tech Bros have turned against the Democratic Party because the Biden regime was trying to control artificial intelligence development. How ironic Musk’s algorithm aces are using AI to ferret out all that waste, fraud and abuse.

In Moorlach’s re-election campaign, he was dismayed how the Tech Bros ran attack ads against him and funded Min – even though Moorlach was trying to balance the state budget and cut taxes and regulations on Silicon Valley entrepreneurs.

And during the 2026 election all those 19-year-old computer geniuses working for Musk will be unleashed against Min and the other Democrats trying to bankrupt American and damage our industries in the great competition with China.
