A bureaucracy ultimately always ends up costing the people more than an upper class.
Una burocracia le resulta al pueblo siempre finalmente más costosa que una clase alta.
I continue to be amused by how out of touch Democrats are on DOGE, Musk and all the cuts being made. The Dems love “waste, fraud and abuse,” as the phrase has it. They continue insisting Musk is the “real president,” knowing nothing of how President Trump operates as a longtime CEO of many companies. Trump delegates everything he can to able subordinates. And who better at ferreting out the immense corruption in government than the greatest industrialist since Edison?
Elon knows how to find the best algorithm aces to dig out what the Democrats’ and their corrupt Waste Machine hid deep in government computer systems.
Here’s CBS’ “60 Minutes” yesterday telling us USAID’s $38 billion of waste is “less than 1% of the federal budget.”
That’s $38,000,000,000.00. That’s how these people think: billions and trillions. They don’t care you don’t have enough money to fix the leaky roof on your house or pay for a kid’s orthodontics; or your local public school laid off math teachers; or the roads in your city are so potholed you just paid $500 for new shocks using your credit card because you don’t have the cash.
It used to be most people couldn’t even imagine a million. But with Bidenflation, house prices in many areas, such as California, easily soar above that even for a shotgun shack.
The “60 Minutes” headline for the full segment screams, “With the dismantling of USAID, is the Trump administration defying the Constitution?” I recently read the entire venerable document. It’s not long. Nowhere does it mention “USAID,” which means it’s unconstitutional.
Then let’s listen, inevitably, to the communist windbag Bernie Sanders, who tweeted:
If Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, can arbitrarily fire hundreds of thousands of federal employees without cause, think of what he’ll do to workers in the private sector. Today, it’s federal workers. Tomorrow, it’s *your* job. That’s what oligarchy is about.
That echoes the aphorism at the top from Don Colacho, the great Columbian reactionary, whose pithy sayings you can read at this blogspot. Bernie is OK with the $37 trillion – $37,000,000,000,000.00 – federal debt run up, which will bankrupt the country and lead to mass starvation, riots and millions of dead Americans. And which he voted for since entering Congress as a House member in 1991. His only solution is to tax the rich guys building the industries to fight China. Oh, I get it. Then Communist China takes over the world, including us.
Bernie once attacked “millionaires.” But since rigging the system to become a multimillionaire himself, owning several luxurious compounds, he now rails against “billionaires.”
Here’s a typical tweet by Democrats in Congress attacking Elon, from Rep. Mike Levin, whose district is just below mine out here in Taxifornia:
Destruction of Government by Elon, aka DOGE, is out of control and accountable to no one. This isn’t about Democrat vs. Republican. It’s about the betrayal of American freedom by an unelected billionaire who thinks he can do whatever he wants. In our America, freedom means we don’t bow to kings—or billionaire CEOs.
Destruction of government? No, destruction of waste, fraud and abuse. Levin is plenty unconcerned about the country going bankrupt and the whole government collapsing like in Zimbabwe – just so the graft keeps flowing to Democrat functionaries.
I could cite many more examples of Democrats in Congress – and I do mean con-Gress – saying the same thing. They are D.C. Swamp Creatures. They go to the same parties and hang out in the same bars. They marry each other as “power couples” making $500,000 or more a year and live in luxurious McMansions – all at your expense.
Now that the inevitable cuts finally have come, they’re whining like children spanked for raiding the cookie jar.
I hope they keep it up. It’s a great show.
My message to Trump and Elon: Keep cutting, cutting, cutting, cutting, cutting, cutting, cutting, cutting…
