Neanderthal like me
Joe Biden recently blasted as “Neanderthal thinking” those who say masks aren’t necessary. That came up Friday as spokesbidenperson Jen Psaki was asked about that comment after the CDC said masks no longer are necessary for the Faucinated.
Personally, I’m not happy with all this anti-Neanderthal discrimination. I took one of those 23 and Me DNA tests a couple of years ago. It reads, 261 of 2,872 variants “in your DNA that trace back to the Neanderthals.”
One variant is “associated with being less likely to have a fear of heights.” That must be why when I was a kid I wanted to be a fighter pilot. Then my eyesight went bad and I took up philosophy.
Anyway, I wish politicans would cut it out with the anti-Neanderthal bigotry.
