Ohio Poisoning: Heck of a Job, Brandon
“Brownie, you’re doing a heck of a job”
– President Bush to FEMA Director Michael Brown during Hurricane Katrina in 2005
The unraveling of President George W. Bush’s administration began with its incompetent response to Hurricane Katrina. In 2005, it only was dawning on Americans Bush’s Iraq and Afghan wars were turning into Vietnam-style quagmires. He started the year using, as he said, his “political capital” to try to privatize Social Security. Democrats immediately pounced on that, as they have again against 2023 GOP attempts at reform.
Then Katrina hit and it was downhill from there to losing Congress in 2006, bringing in as House speaker lovely Nancy Pelosi. Then Obama won in 2008, with a 60-Democratic seat Senate, imposing on us, with Pelosi actually the main instigator, Obamacare.
Today, the Ukraine War is unraveling into a Russian victory. That follows the humiliating 2021 exodus of U.S. troops from Kabul, finally ending the 20-year Afghan debacle. Inflation now is at 40-year highs. Then there were the excessive COVID lockdowns. Making the “vax” mandatory. Biden kept ordering, “Get vaccinated. Get boosted.”
Thank God I never trusted Biden enough to get “the jab.” I got the pox twice, giving me natural immunity. Last week The Lancet released a study showing natural immunity is as good as the vax at preventing a COVID re-infection.
Then there’s Balloongate. The incompetents let what apparently was a Chinese spy balloon float across the whole country before shooting it down. Then they took quick action against another serious invader, firing a $439,000 missile to take down a $12 amateur hobbyist’s balloon.
I haven’t been to Washington since the I lived there in the 1980s, when it already had become an insulated town. It’s worse now. The inmates there look on the America between the East and West coasts as “Flyover Country.” When they heard there was a problem in “East Palestine,” three-fourths of them said, “Isn’t that Netanyahu’s problem?”
Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg was a disaster when he was “America’s Mayor” of South Bend. He also was AWOL on the supply-chain crisis of a year ago, then the airline flight crisis last December. No wonder he delayed action on the train derailing. Maybe he was taking another “maternity leave.”
If it wasn’t for new Ohio Sen. J.D. Vance making a stink about the disaster, D.C. still would not have taken notice, including the mainstream media. Now, they certainly are, because they know it will be an issue against Biden and other Democrats in the 2024 election.
For the D.C. incestuous crowd, Flyover Country is just where their slaves work to provide the taxes to D.C. for the $6 trillion budgets. And where the credit card bill is sent for the $31 trillion debt. And where the youngsters are hooked into signing up to die in the absurd wars the D.C. vampers start, but in which they never risk their own pampered and perfumed necks.
Typically, Biden spent Presidents Day not in East Palestine, or even America, but in Kiyv with dictator Zelensky. That shows what he thinks is most important as his own country falls apart.
