Tucker Purged: Send the Murdochs to Ukraine
Want some more of my observations on the Tucker Purge? I shall oblige.
In my Monday post, I suggested the purge might be to pave the way to an escalation of the Ukraine War involving actual Nato forces, in particular U.S. warplanes and Polish infantry. Today that was seconded by Mike Cernovich, an influential online poster. The video is on Rumble: “Mike Cernovich: Rupert Murdoch Fired Tucker Carlson Because He Stood in the Way of WWIII Agenda.”
Another possibility came up in Vanity Fair: “Tucker Carlson’s Prayer Talk May Have Led to Fox News Ouster:
That Stuff Freaks Rupert Out…. Fox Corp. chair Rupert Murdoch is said to have balked at Carlson’s remarks in a Friday night speech, driving another theory about the prime-time star’s abrupt exit. “He doesn’t like all the spiritual talk,” said a source….
Rupert Murdoch was perhaps unnerved by Carlson’s messianism because it echoed the end-times worldview of Murdoch’s ex-fiancée Ann Lesley Smith, the source said. In my May cover story, I reported that Murdoch and Smith called off their two-week engagement because Smith had told people Carlson was “a messenger from God.” Murdoch had seen Carlson and Smith discuss religion firsthand. In late March, Carlson had dinner at Murdoch’s Bel Air vineyard with Murdoch and Smith, according to the source. During dinner, Smith pulled out a bible and started reading passages from the Book of Exodus, the source said. “Rupert just sat there and stared,” the source said. A few days after the dinner, Murdoch and Smith called off the wedding. By taking Carlson off the air, Murdoch was also taking away his ex’s favorite show.
Did she say something like, “Rupie, honey, the Bible says Russia and Ukraine are Gog and Magog, and you’re bringing down on us Armageddon!” Who knows.
He's 92 and Smith would have been his fifth wife. Billionaires! It almost makes me take up Marxism because they called for “expropriating the expropriators.” Not really. Private property is essential. But if he gets us nuked, nobody will have any property because we’ll all be dead.
Alternatively, we could – what am I listening to right now? It’s a list of 60s hits. And playing is “Fortunate Son” by Creedence:
Yeah-yeah, some folks inherit star-spangled eyes
Hoo, they send you down to war, Lord
And when you ask 'em, "How much should we give?"
Hoo, they only answer, "More, more, more, more"It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no military son, son, Lord
It ain't me, it ain't me
I ain't no fortunate one, one
Let’s draft all these chickenhawk warmongers, beginning with Murdoch and his spoiled children, into the U.S. Army and air-drop each into Bakhmut with an M-16, a bandolero of bullets and case of MREs. So what if he’s 92. Brave Ukrainians reportedly last only four hours there. Don’t need good health and training for that.
Aren’t you sick of these elitist swine always getting us in these stupid wars, then profiting from it?
I was born in 1955, so I missed the draft for Nam by a year, then joined later, 1978-82. But a couple guys in my neighborhood were sent In Country. None died. But they came back changed, that’s for sure.
And I just looked up the boys from the city I grew up in, Wayne, Michigan. From The Wall in D.C., here are the honored dead:
You can click on the links to read about them.
That’s 15 young guys out of a population of 19,000 in the mid-1960s. Or 1 in 1,267. For America as a whole, it was 58,000 out of 200 million. Or 1 in 3,448.
So for my city, it was more than twice the U.S. casualty rate. Why? Because we were the patriots, the guys who always answer the call to war. Our dads all fought in WWII or Korea. When the draft notice came, you would hear, “Son, I fought in the Bulge for our freedoms. Now it’s your turn.”
Or maybe it was Guadalcanal or Normandy or the Chosin Reservoir.
Nobody in my neighborhood got five deferments, like Biden and Cheney did. Did Trump also get deferments? Yeah, but he’s not a warmonger. He’s the main one calling for peace in Ukraine, as even Chomsky, who despises him, pointed out.
Am I mad? Darned right I am. Red-hot mad. My conservative friends and I are sick of Tucker being purged. We’re sick of all these stupid wars the elites send us to die in, but exempt themselves. We’re sick of the lies, lies, lies. Such as LBJ saying – we have it on tape – in early 1964 he didn’t think the Nam War could be won. But he escalated anyway. He said in early 1964, even before the fake Gulf of Tonkin Incident:
It just worries the hell out of me. I don’t see what we can ever hope to get out of there with once we’re committed … I don’t think it is worth fighting for, and I don’t think we can get out. And it’s just the biggest damn mess I ever saw.
Listen here.
Yeah, 58,000 Americans and 3 million Vietnamese killed for nothing. If you can’t win a war, get out.
My message to the Murdochs, Cheneys, Bidens and all the others: Go fight your own wars!
