"If the next president doesn’t get on top of this, and work through the switch to multipolarity to our benefit, we’ll end up like the British Empire after the two world wars: broke, crumbing, irrelevant."

I would suggest that we are already broke and crumbling. Still relevant? Sure, but mostly because we have a giant military complex that stumbles drunkenly around the world causing immense damage while sucking the life from our own economy.

Who created BRICS? We did.

BRICS was founded by Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, its name being an acronym of them. Its members countries now constitute more than half the planet's population with control over more than half the planet's petroleum resources. The petrodollar is about to be irrelevant.

I agree, of course. When I said we created BRICS, I meant that other countries were forced to find an option that would allow them to avoid our sanctions.

They are probably all more interested in removing the petrodollar from having any effect in their economies before it crashes.

How can American media get into Russia to report on anything when they are considered to be agents of an unfriendly country?

They should just reprint the reports of excellent foreign correspondents, such as Pepe Escobar. https://x.com/RealPepeEscobar

A substantial majority of those who get their information from the mainstream media would consider you and Pepe Escobar to be sycophants to misinformation and disinformation sources. Fortunately, those of us who know you better know better.

In the end, it doesn't matter because no "legitimate" news source would have anything to do with either of you, so we can know not to believe anything they say.

Thank you. Just look at what I've reported on and predicted on this site for more than 3 years, especially on the Ukraine war, and make your own judgments.

Putin would have done better with Carlson if he'd stuck to detailing Ukrainian history beginning with the legitimate election of Viktor Yanukovych and his deposition by a CIA-supported and funded riot and "revolution" stage-managed by Victoria Nuland when he refused to suck up to US/EU/NATO instead of Russia.

While it was marginally interesting to listen to Putin's condensed Soviet history lecture, many Americans lost interest and missed his elaboration of the Maidan and Minsk happenings that lead directly to the necessity of the SMO.

T'was me, I'd tell Zelensky to shut down his "military" and return them to prepare for the oncoming winter. If they'd agree to that, they could keep Odesa for non-military uses such as exporting grain, and count on humanitarian support like that being denied to the Gazans by the Zionists.

Just a guess. But I think the Russians will take and keep Odessa, and take but reconstitute Kiev and westward as a Rump Ukraine with denazification. Trump may offer another deal. If he's allowed.

It would be academic to Zelensky, since he's probably already shipped his furniture to his mansion in Switzerland.
