Did I miss something or was 18 billion supposed to be 18 trillion? It's a Wonderful informative article I don't mean to be critical I just wanted to point that out if I'm wrong I apologize.

Right you are. Another typo: U.S. population of 240 million should be 340 million.

I agree with the author: let's ditch NATO. It's only been getting up to mischief lately, most especially in provoking Russia to the brink of nuclear war, and is serving no useful purpose any more (if it ever did).

I corrected it in the text.

"Billion" is clearly a typo; the adjacent text substracts two "trillionsl" to arrive a "billions."

Biden can't meet Putin because Biden is demented and it would be too embarrassing.

There was one country who paid back the US for their expenses from WWII. I think it was Norway, but I could be wrong.

Best I could tell, the UK did in 2006. Norway was an enemy after Hitler invaded in April 1940, so I don't think it got aid. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/6215847.stm

Thank you, Juan! I hadn't seen that. The shoulder patch the King of Rock and Roll wore was for the 3rd Armored Division, in which I also served, 1979-82, in Frankfurt. And I ate at the base's Elvis Presley Cafeteria.

Great read. I highly recommend the documentary Europa: The Last Battle, we weren't told the truth about Germany in WW2.
