I would be more open to this "champion of liberty" role for us if it didn't involve the loss of our sons and daughters in conflicts around the world and the wasting of our assets to enrich the MIC. Stirring speeches aside, "champion of liberty around the world" sounds good, but comes at an incredible cost, much of which is paid by those on whom we rain down bombs.
